Abstract

Somogy county’s 71 wildfarming areas are classified in 6 regions in consequence of more correct assessment of the details and data processing. The goal of the research we analyse the difference between the 6 regions, regaring the connection of the parameter of the trophy. The analysis of the red deer trophy quality shows that based on 3 stressed factors (points of the best trophy, average points of the 10 best trophies, number of gold medal trophies), the Lábod region is the most important area. By means of the research we could draw the conclusion from the analysis of the wildfarming areas that the measurement of the trophy to the highest degree determines the age of the deer bull, the beams lenght, the coronet and the beams circumferences. The smallest correlation coefficients are between the pearling, colour, tine ends and the top points.
