Development of riverside recreational areas of the example of Szigetszentmiklós

Szigetszentmiklós and its recreational areas have an important role in recreational areas of the Ráckeve Danube branch. The development of this area has always depended heavily on land management. The history of this development could help to understand the progressions behind the conflicts, and give answers fór the regulation problems of the settlement. In the case of Szigetszentmiklós, the most important issue is to decrease and stop the disadvantageous progressions and regulate the recreational areas in such a way that both fit together to the interest of conservation and tourism.
