Abstract

The Faculty of Landscape Architecture at Corvinus University of Budapest is always ready and gladly supports all initiatives proposed by the renewed and dynamically working Hungarian Association of Landscape Architects (HALA) and the Section of Landscape Architects of Hungarian Chamber of Architects. Hence, the second professional conference organied at the Buda Campus by the Faculty had intented to create a new tradition in landscape architecture profession since we are convinced in the power of common thinking of university staff, students, active professionals and researchers. “The growing importance of planning in climate change adaptation and mitigation” conference was organised on 27th of April, in the frame of the “Month of Landscape Architecture” and the program series of “Socialisation of Landscape Architecture” with the aim to overview the new methods of landscape planning and energy production and management in climate change adaptation and mitigation.
