In our experiment, we studied the production of geranium (Pelargonium) and the effect of plant protection against the various fungicides of Pelargonium. The main plants of the horticulture are the geranium, with more than 80 varieties of different types (standing, running, halfway, English geranium). The Pelargonium occurs in different sizes and colours. The research was carried out in Kecskemét horticulture between 2014 and 2017. Every year investigated 1,000 geraniums; the following pathogens damaged Botrytis cinerea, Pythium spp., but rarely occurred Alternaria porri and Phytophtora cryptogea disease. In all four years, the largest symptom frequency was characterized by gray mold rot (Botrytis cinerea). Based on our results, we found that during the period under review the effect of plant protection was successful in geranium (Pelargonium).
