Abstract

According to many, the viability and the future chances of a given initiative are not necessarily revealed by the success of its first occasion, but more by those of its second one. If this is true, future looks nice for the Hungarian Landscape Contractor’s Competition, since after last year’s memorable beginning, 2010’s competition of garden designers and landscape contractors proved to be a spectacular event of an even higher level. Although earlier prospects - mostly because of the general economic recession which adumbrated the entire year - were not too positive. Planning and building a garden for the contest comes with an important financial sacrifice for the enterprises and this year this has probably posed an even bigger challenge to the participants.
