Demonstration of training of a raw foal

Equestrian sport still important as a competitive sport or as a hobby. Training has now developed to the point where the horses can be taught almost everything without having to ride on their backs. The aim of this work was to present the training process of a completely raw foal, both physically and mentally. The training involved Rosie, a dark-headed, Furioso-North Star mare. The learning process started when she was transferred to a new owner (at the age of 1.5 years). The training consisted of three phases, including familiarisation, familiarisation with halter, care and management, leg pick-up, ground familiarisation, active trot work, and retrieving
