Abstract

In terms of applicability, a new generation of sunflower hybrid for birdfeed for hulling and its parental lines were investigated for main technologic traits in 2013 by small-plot field experiment. In context of plant density significant changes of several parameters were detected, particularly in the yield per hectare, oil yield per hectare, protein production and seed production. Curves of parameters, relative change and optimum intervals of these parameters also were determined. Contrary to a couple of published data the yield and production curves of hybrid and maternal line have shown quadratic polynomial character. Regarding the restorer (paternal) line there were no significant connection between crop parameters and plant density. The results confirm the importance of hybrid and line specific crop technology in optimization of crop system. The results can be directly utilized in the process of technological expertise.
