Abstract

Hello Wood is an international, independent "platform" and design studio where creative professionals – mainly designers and architects – work together to respond by their own means to real problems, phenomena and issues. They are best known for their international architecture camp, which has been held each year since 2010. This summer, in addition to the international camp, a new initiative: a week long architecture workshop for Hungarian universities was organized. It is called "Balaton Hekk", where students of architecture, landscape architecture and design from nine universities have prepared their own installation in Csopak. The camp was not only about the implementation of the concepts, but also a competition was organised for the installations and the preparing teams for a prize of one million Forints.
