Abstract

Over the past years it has become obvious that urban rehabilitation in many areas of Budapest can no longer be postponed. Replanning the structure of the open spaces is an indispensable part of the complex rehabilitation of the city, and it is also important to draw up plans for their revitalisation. This design wishes to present a complex revitalisation plan for the urban spaces surrounding Döbrentei Street, which is under the protection of the National Inspectorate of Monuments, and which is made up of a network of small urban spaces embedded in the architectural heritage of an area the location of which is of outstanding significance.
