Abstract

The common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) is the most significant invasive weed in Slovakia. There is still not enough information about its spreading and the rate of infestation in order to make decisions, to develop strategies to curb the spread of ragweed and to control the spreading of weeds. Our studies in the Rye Island (2013-2015) partly lie in the fact that we first collected and processed quantified, the extent of the contamination indicator data. These were supplemented by weed creators. On the other hand, a part of this information comes from Natura 2000 sites. Finally, according to our experience based on the visualization we can make a suggestion to do well, two-dimensional weed maps.
