Of creekside landscape management through the eyes of a landscape architect

As a researcher I have been dealing with planning and design aspects of stream restoration. While its international practice has a long history and colorful publicity, Hungarian restoration examples are very few and special, basically without any landscape aspects. In this short article I looked after reasons why Iandscape architects have practically no role in the process, and also the reasons why Hungarian projects are controversial from ecological and aesthetical point of view.
