Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author's Guidelines.
- The submitted manuscript conforms to the 4D's code of ethics and editorial guidelines.
- The author takes responsibility for the accuracy of the text and references in the manuscript.
- URLs and DOI identifiers of the references have been provided where available.
- The author holds the copyright of the manuscript's images or has the permission of the copyright owner to publish them.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The author acknowledges that the above declarations are valid as soon as they have been sent, without a separate signature, and may not be amended.
Copyright Notice
The journal is Open Access (Gold). Its articles are covered by the following type of Creative Commons 4.0 standard licence: CC-BY-NC-ND-4.0, which means that the work may be freely copied, distributed, displayed and performed, but may not be used for commercial purposes (NC), nor may it be modified or adapted or made into a derivative work (ND). The licence requires that the author's name and the title of the work be indicated in the author's or holder's own name (BY).
The roles and responsibilities of authors, proofreaders and editors are defined in the 4D's Code of Ethics.
Privacy Statement
The names and e-mail addresses provided to the editorial team are exclusively for internal use, and will be used only for the purposes specified by the user and will not be disclosed to third parties.
