Abstract

Education had great importance in every age and every social system, but it gets special significance in our time, since our society and the teachers are engaged in problems like the financial situation of schools, their cessation and mergence. In consequence there is the threat of losing jobs. and a growing number of lessons and low payment for the ones who remain. This is the present.
But let’s look back on the history of public education and examine the life of a teacher in a small village. The way he/she was selected for the job, the way she could start his/her careeer. The paper considers the difficulties and pleasures of this journey.
