Abstract

In this second part of their essay, authors review Hungarian and foreign results concerning milk production of different beef breeds (total lactation production, daily milk yield, components). Besides milk, they also deal with the amount of colostrum and the changing of its components after calving. They suggest that breeds that have not been earlier, should be involved in research work.
