Smart technologies, including IoT, big data, AI, and digital platforms, are transforming the tourism industry, especially in spa towns. These technologies not only enhance tourist experiences but also promote sustainability and improve the well-being of local communities. The purpose of this study is to explore the current status and future potential impacts of smart technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in the tourism sector, with a focus on spa towns that serve as key hubs for health tourism. The analysis draws on various international examples and case studies, demonstrating the economic, ecological, and social impacts of these technologies.
