Abstract

Our aim was to present some apitherapy houses and apitherapy treatments in Hungary, as the use of apitherapy products is becoming more and more widespread. It is mainly used for respiratory and nervous system diseases in our region. The apitherapist interviewed uses it mainly for upper respiratory diseases. Apitherapy is often recommended as a complementary treatment, as it is not a monotherapy. The interviews showed that more and more people are taking part in the treatment, but that there is a need for more education and information about the benefits and effectiveness of apitherapy treatments for people in our country.
