Quick news: Presentation and sale of Hungarian Old Breeds’ meat products in the Hungarian Agricultural Museum
Abstract
A régi állatfajtáink hústermékeinek bemutatóját, árusítását, valamint szakmai előadások ismertetését első alkalommal szervezte meg a Magyar Szürke Szarvasmarhát Tenyésztők Egyesülete és a Mangalicatenyésztők Országos Egyesülete a Mezőgazdasági Múzeum munkatársaival együttműködésben 2006. március 24–26. között. A múzeum földszintjén biztosítottak területet a különböző hústermékek (szürke marha, juh-, és bivaly szalámi, kolbász, szalonna) és italok (pl. gyümölcspálinkák) bemutatására és kóstoltatására. A bemutatott termékek közül több ökológiai gazdálkodásból származott. Ugyancsak a földszinten alakítottak ki egy „mozisarkot”, ahol az érdeklődők megismerhették a magyar szürke szarvasmarha húsának értékeit (sötétvörös színű hús, finom márványozottság, nagy vastartalom, telítetlen zsírsavakban gazdag stb.), valamint a hús elkészítésének különböző konyhatechnikai műveleteit és a hagyományos ételek elkészítésének módjait is.
