Abstract
The target group of the adult education – Rural population in county Somogy in the Horthy era Adult education in Hungary in the Horthy era was directed at the „peasantry.” But the concept was ambiguous, and specialists' notions of it frequently differed drastically. Peasant society's stratification caused the difference. In county Somogy the landowner system was characteristic. The servantry had neither self awareness nor education. Bad traffic relations also made adult educational work harder. This article presents these circumstances. Language: Hungarian
