Kulcsszavak:lifelong learning, higher education, mature students
The European Union in the Lisbon Strategy has set a target that 12.5% of the adult population should participate in lifelong learning. The ‘Europe 2020’ plan increased this proportion to 15%. In my paper I present the characteristics of the mature student friendly universities in the frame of an American model.
