Abstract

The global wine world has undergone a dynamic change over the past decades, with preferences and consumption patterns evolving around the world, and consumers becoming more aware of sustainable and organic wines.  To thrive in this competitive industry, wineries need to adapt to these trends.  As trends in the wine industry evolve, wine enthusiasts are increasingly looking for new options, with a preference for wines with minimal additives.  People are increasingly focused on their health, their environment and the authenticity of the beverages they consume, and the wine industry is paying attention.

Consumer demand for sustainability and health benefits is driving these changes. Consumer attitudes and preferences are shifting towards products that offer health benefits and are in line with their values. Consumers are becoming more informed about wine, focusing on quality, transparency and ethical production practices, and seeking products that are produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. The demand for organic wines is driven by the desire for more natural and authentic products, consumer awareness of organic products and growing environmental concerns. People are beginning to realise that it really matters what kind of wine they drink and how it affects their health and the environment.

The research provides an insight into wine consumers' habits, their preferences when choosing wine, their willingness to innovate, and in particular their attitudes towards organic and natural wines.
