Abstract

The modern geographical information programmes make possible to the professionals to create species-maps with more detailed data than earlier, which can display in 2D or 3D. Thanks to the possibilities ensured by the system it flared the scope of the investigational methods in case of several disciplines. We have carried out examinations in the appleplantation of the Horticulture Investigational Station in Pallag of the University of Debrecen being part of an ice-net. Within a plantation consisting of same species the stocks with different age and spacing have been studied by pruning, irrigational, yield, agro-meteorology and hailstone damage prevention treatments in the course of species-investigation. The aim of our investigation is to analyze the results of the field work with the help of geoinformatics database. The geographical information system of the apple plantation containing the name of species, data of plantation and soils, and the parameters of the fruit trees was established with applying of geoinformatical and remote sensing methods. The physical type of soil on the field is sand on the basis of the examinations of soil science, but by the reason of the parameters of the water management and the value of the soil-toughness compact layers can be found at 30–40 cm depth. The logical query from the attribute table quickens the examinations significantly since it makes possible geographical correct tree basis analysis having integrated data, which couldn’t carry out with the help of the traditional documentations. According to these we can determine the fields where it has to loosen soil, and to do soil-amelioration or manuring.
