A report on five mice by Miklós Mészöly on the literature lesson

Abstract

Although there has been a change of paradigm in teaching literature at secondary schools, the traditional, Literary Criticism-based, chronological method is used nowadays. As a consequence, there might not be enough time for modern authors, especially writers and poets after 1945. There is usually no time for teaching the works of Miklós Mészöly, for instance, although they could be integrated into the curriculum based on numerous methods. A proposal is offered for this problem in this study.
