Author Guidelines

The articles must be edited with Microsoft Word editor software using the template. Before submission double-check the fulfilment of formal requirements by using our checklist.

The manuscript must be no more than 10 pages, including figures, summary and references. In some cases, the Editorial Board may recommend that a given article be expanded or elaborated.

The language must be English.

The title must be short, 20 words maximum. After an empty line, the author(s) name must appear in the following style: János KISS, Thomas George MARTENS, József TÓTH. Under the author’s name must appear the workplace’s name and address. If there is more than one author and the authors’ workplaces are different after the author’s family name must be an index number corresponding to the listed number of that author’s workplace.

Following this should be a summarizing Abstract. After the title of the Abstract, an empty line should appear. This summarizing Abstract should be no more than 250 words with no more than one paragraphs or listing. After an empty line keywords should be next, (no more than 5 words or phrases).

Chapters’ titles must be highlighted, the subtitle must be with smaller font size than the title, with no numbers. Before and after the titles an empty line should appear; if there’s a subtitle, an empty line must appear before that. The paragraphs should be justified. Highlighted words or sentence parts must be written in italic letters.

The authors are responsible for the content of an article. The editorial board will edit and proofread the articles, and return them to the author for correction if necessary. The corrected manuscript should be sent to the editors as an attachment via e-mail.

REFERENCES
This section should contain all cited works. They must be in alphabetical order (based on the author’s family name), without numbering.

The format of references should be APA 7 style (https://apastyle.apa.org/about-apa-style). If available, indicate DOI numbers with a hyperlink and/or ISBNs.
In the text, APA 7 style (https://apastyle.apa.org/about-apa-style) should have used for references to the literature.

Corresponding author should include the first author’s or contact person’s postal address, and e-mail address.

Tables, figures, pictures, etc.
The reference numbers for tables, figures, pictures and other non-textual content should appear above as follows: Table 2, Figure 4.  After another empty line, the title should appear.

Diagrams must be drawn in MS Excel or compatible. Tables should be added with the MS Word table editor.  The figures, due to convertibility issues, should not be drawn in MS Word, but rather in PowerPoint, Corel Draw, AutoCAD, etc. Pictures should be sent in JPEG, TIF or PNG format to the editorial board as email attachments. Source files for diagrams, graphics, and figures should also be sent as separate email attachments.
In the tables and figures, only English text may be included.  The decimal point in a number should be a point.

Immediately under the figure, the source should appear along with any explanatory caption, except if the content is the author's work.

Equations should also be followed by reference numbers in parenthesis.  Within the text, the reference number should be used to indicate the equation.

Guidelines for review articles
The editorial board will accept a limited number of review articles.  If the review is on a relevant subject that has not been addressed in national or international scientific periodicals for the last three years, the board will consider it for publication.  The formatting requirements for a review article are the same as those listed above.

A review article must contain the following sections:
SUMMARIZING ABSTRACT
