The two faces of wine
Abstract
Wine is an additional to healthy nutrition in some European countries.Wine-consumption is hoped to become a more and more important
part of the healthy, well-balanced lifestyle in Hungary on the basis of its positive physiological effects.
The effect of wine-consumption can be favourable or unfavourable for the human health and it is influenced by several factors in my
opinion. Among the influencing factors the most important ones are the frequency of wine-consumption, its manner and the quality
and quantity of wine, too. According to some experts an adult can drink 2-3 deciliters of wine on average without negative effects.
There are a lot of occassions for drinking wine. People consume wine first of all for its consumer value although the wine’s favourable
effect for the human body has been suspected for a long time. People know wine as an antiseptic and besides this wine is good for the
human’s general state, wine has good dietetic effect, wine is effective against digestive track, heart and circulatory diseases, wine helps
diabetic people and smokers, too. All of these statements have been proved by last years’ researches.
