Abstract

The authors review the keeping and feeding condition of horses in the State Stud of Mezőhegyes. They outline – beside the summary of the literature – the size of loose-boxes and stalls in the central stable, the system of feeding and watering and the process of training. This paper discusses the design of the runner stable and the system of feeding in the mare stud.
