The social condition in Hollókő on the basis of census statistics

In 2023, the members of the MRTT Faluszemináriumi Kutatóműhely conducted research for the second time in Hollókő, where they were assigned to assess and analyse findings related not only to the World Heritage site, but to the everyday life of the village as a whole. It is in this context that this manuscript presents a descriptive and exploratory study, which will, among other things, examine the population change trends in Hollókő, the ethnic and religious distribution of the local society, its age structure, and its proportions in terms of marital status, education and economic activity. The main goal of this manuscript is to provide a comprehensive picture of Hollókő, compared with the data for Nógrád county, using census data.
