Simulation of a batch unit
Keywords:
batch, monofluid, UniSim design, reactor simulatorAbstract
In the Department of Process Engineering University of Pannonia (Hungary) a 50 liter stirred batch reactor with a monofluid jacket heating-cooling including three temperatures can be found. The aim of this paper to present the process creating the dynamic simulator of the jacketed batch reactor and its monofluid termoblock. The limits of the simulation software experienced during our work are also presented. The objective of our project is to create a simulator that produces nearly the same measured values as the real system. The simulator was created with the Aspentech HYSYS® based UniSim™ Design (Honeywell).
