In the scope of preparing my thesis I have worked out a comprehensive primary research plan for performing the economic utility analysis of the IT investments of various businesses. I have furthermore drafted the logical scheme for the valuation and decision-making model. I have therefore done the logical modelling required for these valuations. I relied on the economics know-how related to investment valuation and the mathematical methods and procedures of the decision theory. As a result of all these, a comprehensive logical structure has been developed to model this topic from which we can definitely deduct the major issues for primary research. Finally, I describe the current state of primary research.
