Optimization of land usage with the support of fuzzy based model
Keywords:
land usage, fuzzy sets, modelAbstract
Information can support us in finding the functions of the country, which we are in possession of about the examined territory. We can group and analyse our available data by the using GIS methods and devices, and can propose actions regarding to the country and land usage. We made a model which considers the slope angle of a territory influencing the type of usage and the gold crown value of a territory estimating the quality of the arable land. The model does not determine the suitability with rigid category values, but as fuzzy membership functions of fuzzy sets. Not only is the suitability of the chosen sector for the cultivation of plants examinable, but also possibilities for alternative usage. The examination was made on a micro-area of Somogy County. The results, based on the specific outputs regarded as the critical level of production, were checked on 790 hectares-sized plots.
