Preparing for the competition, I was walking around the city center like never before. I tried to ignore all distractions and concentrate only on genius loci. I was soon overcome by the historical spirit of the buildings. My concept is to preserve the architectural values of this part of the city with its exciting atmosphere, and to enrich urban open spaces in a way that fits the surrounding area. I designed Street furniture which is not only functional but also aesthetic. Even though they are made of modern material (polycarbonate), their pure, simple shape corresponds to the surrounding area, so the historical old buildings can remain this area's dominant attraction.
